AL-Suwaiq considered as one of the most crucial trade centers in the country

Today, it is considered as one of the most crucial trade centers in the country because of the many interesting markets. In fact, some of these markets are traditional and local, and other of which are modern. Moreover, there are various Fish and Vegetable Markets in different parts of Al-Suwaiq in which some people sell fish and fresh vegetable and fruits, and others buy. Most of the vegetables and fruits sold in the local markets are farmed in farms by Suwaiqi people

In my town, there is a football club known as Al-Suwaiq Sports Club, and it has fulfilled many achievements like winning the Oman League for three times, Sultan Qaboos Cup for two times, and the Omani Super Cup for one time
